Pay Transparency

Legislation related to pay transparency continues to expand across the country, with additional state laws taking effect in 2025.

Safety & Workplace Violence

Laws designed to protect workers are gaining traction on both coasts. Following a 2024 California law that created the first industry-wide workplace violence prevention plan requirement, New York aims to create safer work environments through a couple of new laws in 2025. 

Paid Sick & Family Leave Expansion

The trend of paid leave continues in 2025, with more states adding or expanding paid family, medical and sick leave requirements.

Secure Act 2.0

Minimum Wage Increases
